I wanna do something to you that will give you a glimpse of what my world looks like. Like I want to give you a book that will soothe your logical mind and restless soul. And I’ll let you read my favorite novel so that we can argue about its character and discuss its plot and what should have happened. I’ll let you kiss each pages and I’ll share you my tear ducts moment with it. You said you always like thinking objectively well I’ll introduce you the beauty of being subjective, that it’s okay to fantasize about fantasy and to taste each sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Sometimes aside from kicking you in the ass, reality is a bit tiring so I’ll let you join me to another worlds where we can be in different adventure, different dimension and different tragedy. I’m sure you’ll learn something new aside from the textbooks and stressing current events that you always read. I’m sure that it will give you a new knowledge, a new life: never dull, not lifeless but colorful.

Book Review: The Infinite Sea (The Fifth Wave, #2) by Rick Yancey

Book Review: The Infinite Sea (The Fifth Wave, #2) by Rick Yancey Rating: ***** (5/5 stars) Gahd that twist!!!!!! Like....what the actual fuck??! As a start, I really love this series. The biggest reason is that it has the bad ass kids with their bravery and hope and love and astounding character development and even in their worst moments, they still are positive (though their vulnerability is just visible well yeah of course because of their situation) and let their humor stand out. I mean, there are dangers for them everywhere and I know it but still, they never failed to make me laugh. I just love it when Yancey builds his characters so wonderfully but not superficial and not that so good to be true (well maybe except Evan). I mean, wow. I love Cassie, Evan (oh gahd, Evannn!!!), Ben (*wink*), Ringer, Dumbo (Dubuque!!!), Sam, Razor, etc. The story doesn't center Evan and Cassie anymore though there are more of them here but mostly, it is all of the characters in the boo...

Book Review: The Fifth Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey Rating: ***** (5/5 stars) “But if I'm it, the last of my kind, the last page of human history, like hell I'm going to let the story end this way. I may be the last one, but I am the one still standing. I am the one turning to face the faceless hunter in the woods on an abandoned highway. I am the one not running but facing. Because if I am the last one, then I am humanity. And if this is humanity's last war, then I am the battlefield.” Oh, of course, it's that kind of book. But aliens weren't called aliens here, they were known here as The Others. The book starts with lurking owls then the story in the life of Cassie. With her mother's death from the 3rd wave and his father killed by the others, now she is in the move to find her brother. No matter what it takes, fiercely facing the nightmares of the world, she will find her brother. Then she came across Evan Walker, the only person who wil...

Book Review: Champion (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu

Book Review: Champion (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu Rating: ***** (5/5 stars) It's over. I can't believe it. I've been to a wonderful and crazy ride all this time while reading it, I've been through a lot of emotions and it's over and this could be one of the best conclusion I've ever read. Marie Lu, I love you! I must admit that before starting Champion, I was so afraid that it would end up  with the likeness of Allegiant but after reading it, I was so happy with how it ends. I love how June and Day have become towards the end of the series and how the story of the character goes- no loose ends, no thrown away characters and the plot was just brilliant! It was wonderful how June and Day develop from innocent individuals to one of the powerful characters and heroes I have ever read. It is true that experiences and situations simply mold you into someone you never thought you could be. And each characters - June, Day, Eden, Tess, Anden, Kaede, etc. are powerf...

Book Review: Prodigy (Legend, #2) by Marie Lu

Book Review: Prodigy (Legend, #2) by Marie Lu Rating: **** (4/5 stars) Beautiful series! I can't even.... I enjoyed the first book of the series but this book have somehow put me on the edge. I like how this book have - little by little - uncovers every details about the world of this series. I also enjoyed the subtle character development of its main characters and unlike other hero/heroine, it doesn't seem forced. I love how those new characters played well in this book and everything in its plot was the perfect ingredient for a new taste of a dystopian series.  Marie Lu is so good with all those suspense moments in this book and I love how she made June and Day perceptive and smart! I can make it pass for a sort of a crime, suspense story kind of thing. I also love how each characters displayed on this book was remarkable on their roles. Oh I personally love Day and I am starting to like Andren tho I am Team Daniel/Day all the way! But oh how this book ends!!! I a...

Book Review: In the Afterlight (The Darkest Minds, #3) by Alexandra Bracken

Book Review: In the Afterlight (The Darkest Minds, #3) by Alexandra Bracken Rating: **** (4/5 stars) I didn't sleep because I can't put it down and I just have to finish it!  The conclusion of the trilogy is great, how the plot itself have come to its ending not making the story a bit forced, making every details clear that I didn't even notice that the next page will be the acknowledgment. I mean, from every conflict resolved (though I'm not happy about everything about it) through how Ruby reached her mission, the series has simply make it to its happy ending. I really like how Ruby and every other characters have developed themselves, being brave and strong that is really appropriate in their situation.
