I gazed at the window on my bedroom and saw the first star in the sky. I remember when you said that I should wish on the first star I can see and hope with all my heart that it will come true. That night, I wished for your return. I know that it wouldn’t be possible, I might be stupid and all. But still, I believe your words. I still wish for your return, even though that in heaven you might be peeking or the star itself was you.

Book Review: After Dark by Haruki Murakami Rating: **** (4/5 stars) “I'll write to you. A super-long letter, like in an old-fashioned novel” I am into Haruki Murakami mode in reading and again, he never failed to amaze me with his beautiful way of writing his books. This book is just too passive to read but hey, it's Murakami. Instead of being confused and all in the plot of the story, I was curious and interested. Murakami successfully tackled life in a deeper sense and pour it a bittersweet feeling to his readers. I love the way how he made the characters in this book to have some sort of connection and interrelationship. And I must say that it is great how he manage to make metaphors and to tell an interesting life story and all in the span of 7 hours. I love the personality of Mari here and I have sort of relate myself to her. She may not be an open book but we almost have the same disposition in life and with how we see things in some angles in life. Takahashi,...
